Music Download

Not too long ago, the thought of carrying around an entire music library seemed ludicrous, but now, people walk around with MP3 players that contain more music than crates ever could. A music download is a digital file, which is easy to store and transport.

There are music download sites that allow users to pay for songs. These include:
• iTunes
• Amazon
• Napster
• eMusic

Many times, an emerging artist or band will offer a free music download to get a user interested in their music. Other times, songs will be uploaded against the musician’s wishes, making them illegal. Many lawsuits have emerged around the topic of illegal music sharing.
